As above, good range of dakine mtb kit on SP this morning. Particular fan of their dropout short and picked up a couple of pairs at £22 each (rrp c £60). Some nice gloves, jerseys etc to be had too. Always rate dakine kit as lasts well and not as in your face designs as many brands

I'd be wary of the fit of their Jerseys. I'm usually a borderline s/m, and the s come up tiny, and the m are massive!
Nice kit though.

Only found the medium fits to be huge with their shirts. Love their jerseys, they have a much better fit than their casual wear.

yeh, there returns process dead quick easy, although you have to pay postage or they they can deduct it form you refund if you use their pre-paid lables

One of my vendors recently emailed me to say that PayPal will reimburse return postage if you pay via PayPal and submit a request. I've done it a couple of times already - not sure it works with all vendors though.

Quite like the look of the Huub road gear -does anyone know if that is decent quality and fit?

Huub kit is decent quality - slight bias as live just near their base in the Independent Republic of Derbados 😉

v7fmp - It's not just you. All my prices went up in the basket.

£14.99 up to £21.99 on the Thrillium top
£44.99 to £57.99 on the Thrillium pant

Same for everyone? Still good prices but I'm going to contact them and ask.
I've bought a lot of kits from them over the years and never had this issue.

I picked up some Dakine gear (incl. Thrillium Pants) a couple of days ago from SP & all the prices went through checkout as originally listed.
Looks like all the demand from STW has triggered a price increase!
Beware that for some items the pictures don't match the actual colours stated in the descriptions.

No and also items will be cancelled off your order due to 'stock error' 4 weeks after ordering.

This has happened so many times that I have given up with SP now. Its fine if you want some of their Rivelo crap but good named brands with proper discount and its 50/50 whether you'll get it.

So I should have ordered them a few weeks ago? Damn.
Well I've asked if they'll refund the difference between the product page & price paid and see what happens.

This thread just cost me £30 for another "Tech Flannel" Shirt to go with the one I live in during the cooler months.

I have placed about 4 orders with SP an only had 1 "we actually don't have any" issues.

You say that like it's a good thing. That's a 25% failure rate. I've had this in the past with them too - but only on one order. Out of about 4 😐

Had stuff from them since they started up, and only had the wrong thing delivered once. And that was just some flip flops! Never had a stock error here.

Biggest bugbear for me with SP is if you have credit and use it for something you send back, they refund you minus the credit, like it was their money taken off. You always have to complain to get your credit back.

Lol - I was given some credit as goodwill for one of their many cockups and I used it to part pay for something they also found out later that they didn't actually have. They then refunded me the price minus the credit they had given me for the first balls up!

I didn't use them for ages after that and then a few weeks ago they had some garmin Etrex for cheaps - well they said they did......but no, 4 weeks after ordering and 1 week before 'delivery' they apparently didn't.

Thats it for me. Pity as I've had some reasonable bargains in the past but CBA with them now.

Not sure if this is right to post here.
I ordered a couple of different sizes in the thrillium pant in black and have 2x medium that I am about to return if anyone wants them at £57.99 each + p&p let me know before I return them today or tomorrow.

And let me know if the post needs removing.

Thanks

Happened to me the first time last week with an Arcteryx Jacket. Bit off as they took my money right away and then refunded me several weeks later....

Dakine Medium dropout shorts have a small waist, I'm gonna have to return them. For reference I wear endura medium shorts, and 30x30 gap jeans.

Any italian fit skinny people want a pair of Smalls that I've just received? Same deal as above.

I've always liked that sort of flannel shirt, but also always suspected I'll look like an absolute fanny wearing one. So I had one in my basket, then went for a ride, and realised that I was wearing my most favourite Fox riding shirt ever, and I looked like an absolute fanny anyway. So, bought 2 flannel shirts.

I picked up a couple of really nice Dakine MTB Jerseys from SportsPursuit, but got the sizing a bit wrong - was expecting them to come up a bit small, but they didn't!

If amyone also bought a Dakine Syncline Long Sleeve Jersey in Slate Blue Stripe & needs to swap their medium for my large - then please let me know.

Also have a Dakine Long Sleeve Thrillium Jersey (Dark Olive) in size large - that I may swap if someone has a medium in the same jersey - may keep this one though as it isn't quite as big on me.

Dakine Syncline LS Jersey - Slate Blue Stripe
