Recommended settings on phones ? - just using the night mode on a Samsung S23 Ultra, so it decides exposure time - 3-6 seconds - Could go for the pro mode and set it manually.

My Pixel 6 on Night Mode will attempt a 6s exposure if you can hold it steady enough. Put it in a tripod/mount so that it can't move at all and it'll do a 4 minute exposure.

First time I have ever seen them. Massive glows of deep red and lighter patches of green. Just outside Oswestry

Houns - that’s a brilliant pic! If you play around with it and make it even more vivid it looks nuts

The disturbance levels have passed 1400. That’s crazy, they were 900 or so earlier this year’s, that’s way higher than I’ve ever seen

Makes for good viewing though
