Less of a forum, and more of a dark room with lots of mattresses on the floor.

Heads up - forum moderation pressure is building. The usual result being a ‘clear out’. Argumentative trolls, if you want to stay, back down

Where does this "pressure" come from?
Does he just mean TJ's back?

Has it been bad recently? I admit I only float about topics that interest me, but its seemed quite chill recently [on those such topics] - though there was a coffee one where people disagreed, about how to make coffee. It can't be that surely??? I mean they were just wrong, not rude per se. 😉

you can't do that under the Persimmon Act of 1954 as made famous in the closing scene of Mark Bainbridge's classic film, "Jabba".

The plural is Nazis.

Not Nazi's, and definitely not Nazies (which sounds like a town in Southern France, but isn't).

i hadn't noticed anything bad recently... but then again i never read the threads about politics and religion, football etc!

i wonder who the mods are under pressure from? if its people reporting stuff then each report is dealt with on an individual basis and reporters and the reported should take the mods decision as final surely?

Elephant in the room? Tone on here and quality of discussions markedly improved during a "certain period of absence" recently and fell immediately when this ended. Could be a coincidence, after all correlation doesn't equal causation, but....

Good for the mods if they are trying to keep the tone up.
