I got the last one (5w) for my bars and it's great. It's a great light apart from the fact that the flashing mode is SOS. It must confuse any people who know what it is driving towards me.

Any idea what type of batteries it uses ?

Looking at the pictures of it I'd guess it will be 2xAA batteries.
