I want/need a new game. Played Crysis 1 and liked it, but I am hearing good things about Homefront. Anyone got either?

Killzone 3 also an option, but would have to spend another £35 on the new sony gun/rifle for ultimate geekyness!!

Homefront is ok it's not great and basically a Black Ops rip off, singleplayer on it is very short and multiplayer favours those that spend every waking minute playing.

would like to know if Killzone3 is any good with the motion controllers as we have 3 that are pretty much unused. infact, does anybody know if there are any decent games worth buying for them.

I've got Crysis 1 + Warhead (both PC) and will definitely be getting 2. Worth checking out the reviews (especially IGN and GameSpot) at Gamerankings.

mate of mine has Crysis 2 on the PC & is disappointed. Says it's basically BlackOps in a nano suit, and no where near as enjoyable as the original Crysis.

Apparently Battlefield:Bad Company 2 sets the standard for multiplayer FPS. It's next on my shopping list, anyway.

BF BC2 is very good I played it on the PC when it first came out, the lack of maps became an issue though and soon it became boring. Good game though and BF3 is on the horizon.

LOL. Came on here expecting some rave reviews, as looking for something else too (need to wean myself off GT5). But already have BF BC2.
For the PS3, I can testify that it's a very addictive game, single player isn't bad, and the multiplayer is most excellent.
There's nothing better than taking out a building with a bad guy in it using a tank. Or doing proper sniping across the entire map. I've not played it for a while, and last time I turned it on there were the old BF BC1 maps on it, didn't like them, but mostly as I hadn't learnt the good/bad points of the map - and it had become a bit of a shoot fest.
Also, there's the vietnam add-on. Have that, and for $20 it's fine, but didn't really rate it compared to the other maps. Flame thrower is fun mind!
If you've not got it I'd recommend it as an excellent online shooter.

Alternately, I really enjoyed Deadspace 1, if deadspace 2 is anything like the first you'll enjoy it. And, really out there, I enjoyed Red Faction 2 - very destructible environments, nothing better than rescuing hostages by driving a dump truck through the ground floor, ala lethal weapon!
Wouldn't recommend Transformers War for Cybertron unless you like the genre and don't mind almost full on arcade shooter - was fun, but extremely linear and (even for me) pretty easy to complete. Did burn a few nights on it mind.

Lvl29, seem to have been on there for ever. Despite clearing all but pretty much the enduro levels.
I'm finding that I'm buying road car exotica and then racing that on home made Toscana road tracks, doesn't get me any cash or experience.
Online racing is OK, though better with mates I know from work rather than the open lounge - they're incredibly tough.

@ kimbers
I saw that a day or so ago, I hope it's everything it could live up to be, it's been way too long since a decent mech game has been out there.
