I have been busy at work, introducing all manner of teachers to outdoor life and learning. Best bit has been playing with outdoor food and cooking....We even tried to set fire to the Queens pad (if anyone recognises it...). Using home made ovens, Matts Mad Cheesecake made in a ziplock bag is the winner - with the honey, pistachio and chocolate bannock being a close second...

Recipe or it didnt happen!

Take tub of marscapone cheese, spoon of sugar and then anything you like in cheesecake (chopped chocolate & toffee works well; fresh blaeberry's etc). Smush lots in ziploc bag.
You can then either cut off corner of bag and pipe out onto biscuits, or you can sprinkle smashed digestives on top.
Om, nom and yum.

Proper yummy. The other oven held heat for longer as it had sand round it - this one had a few too many gaps, and while it got hot, it lost heat easily.
Holyrood Park then

Yarp.
Tomorrow brings the trial of the photocopier-paper box oven... 8)
