I think i may be the king of procrastination, built an extension six years ago just booked a mini digger for May to get the drainage done and get it signed off.
Also did a loft conversion fifteen years ago, got to get a handrail on the stairs to get that signed off as well. 😳
A mate of mine doesn't have his extension signed off yet since he'll have to pay more council tax once it is. I don't think he's in much of a hurry.

You don't pay extra council tax for an extension you have built. Any increase is waiting for the next owner. (And not all extensions will move you up a band anyway)
