i know its been done to death, but searched dont turn up the answers to my question, can anyone recommend a decent sub £50 sleeping bag for use between the months of May and September/early october in the UK, no camp site out of the ordinary, (so not talking Scottish highlands etc, mostly mainland UK and the like) but somnething with a good packable size would be nice, cheers all and have a good wednesday
The Scottish Highlands are part of the mainland UK [/pedant]
I'd look at what's about with the usual retailers/mfrs, you can check weight, bulk and warmth pretty easily.
Blacks have some offers on at the moment, incl a £40 Aerolite 700 - only 2 seasons but that's what you're after, innit?

Vango planet 50 deluxe can be found cheap 900g and pack up small mines been golden just no good if below 3 degrees ive found cost me £39 with delivery online sure it could be had cheap if you look around
Ps the stuff sack is fleece lined so you can turn it inside out and fill it with clothes and use it as a pillow
Car camping or bike/back packing?
My advice would be to consider the size of the bag, you can have the toastiest bag in the world but if its too small or tight you will press up against the side and get cold.
