Could anyone recommend an app or some software (windows if pc software) that I can use to print to a non AirPrint wireless printer. Would be nice if I didn't have to have the pc running to print.

I don't have a iPad but Mac Book Pro 2011 and I use a Cannon wireless printer
simple to set up.
just pop into an Apple store if you get stuck they be happy to advise
or book a time with one of there Genius IT people All FREE
I just put mine face down on the photocopier. 😉
I use the app below with ok results bit of a pain printing without AirPrint but what little printing I do from the iPad.
This app works on my wireless HP printer .

Cheers guys. Looks like I might have to bite the bullet and get an AirPrint printer for hassle free printing.
If you have an HP wireless printer that predates AirPrint there is an HP app which will print photos and documents from an iPad.
Stoats. Cheers for that. We have an old home wireless printer. Will have a look for that app.
