Need to get some photo printer off in a rush (for the funeral next week), pictures are 1248 x 830 with a 72dpi (bit depth of 24?).
Anyone able to use those spec's to tell me how large a print out I can get without distortion or a rubbish looking print? (trying to avoid wasting chas getting 'test' images)

As it's a rush, i'm looking for a high street 'printer', option off hand seem to be Boot or Jessops, anyone else to consider? (Or recommend one over the other?)

72 dpi has no meaning, forget it (an A pixel x B pixel image is A pixels x B pixels, nothing more nothing less).

For best quality print at 300dpi, so 4.16" x 2.77"

Minimum acceptable quality is about 180dpi, so 6.9" x 4.6"

Try PhotoBox online, very quick (often next day), very good quality achievable.

Sorry I apologies, I'm fairly busy right now so hadn't had time to take this in properly and deal with it (was hoping for maybe another reply) or reply. Thanks for the info
