Just had a quote for some varifocals in a RipCurl frame for £120 from http://lentoid.com/index.html
(Would be paying over £300 at the local opticians)
They also did my Rudy Project inserts for around £70.
i recently bought some oakley prescription frames and lenses from http://www.rxsport.co.uk/ and the service, speed and price were excellent. the home trial they offer is another huge bonus.
bought crosslinks btw, really nice frames. grip/fit like oakley sunglasses. rxsport were also the cheapest place i could find for them.
i went with optilabs very nice people. they sent a selection of frames to try. highly recomended
