Laughed non-stop for 4 hours whilst churning out a tough 30 miles - awesome!!
Think I'd rather be the steerer than the rearer!

We beached it, the back end kicked up, but kept it under control
We did bend the chain ring quite bad though!! 🙂

I think I would crap myself being on the back of one - better rider than me would go faster than I would like, worse would be sketchy!
If the driver farted there'd be no escape.
We swapped around a bit - but in the end, my mate done most of the stoking - he only told me to slow down once and he only bailed the once

tandems rock. welcome to the club. Stoker is there to carry gear and provide power. Captain is there to make sure the stoker doesn't get hurt in a crash. that's about all you need to know, unless you're a stoker in which case a winning tip is that if the captain doesn't do it right, kidney punches *really* hurt
