Triton Cromo - current - £120 B&Q. Average web review 3/5.
Triton Kaho - reduced on their website £51 - Screwfix £62. Average web review 4/5.
Look exactly the same. Which one should I go for, or neither?
Happy to pay more, but if they 'do the job' why pay more? Help me!

Not a plumber, but I can't see any significant difference. I'd go for the cheap one.
*Awaits with anticipation the "Triton are crap, get a Mira" brigade*
😀

Cheers Neil.
Off to buy the Kaho from Screwfix very shortly unless I get convinced otherwise...

Screwfix had the 8.5kW Enrich shower for £40 yesterday.
But, under the cover, they are all virtually identical, it is just the outer cover and fancy knobs you pay the extra for.
I've recently been fitting the Bristan 8.5kW shower, £50 from SF, and find it really good, looks better than the Tritons IMO.

Of those two, I'd go for the cheaper one.

But I think I'd really be looking for something with a thermostatic valve.

Yes, sorry, didnt look them up, yes, the ones i was thinking of are electric.
Mixers are much the same, disregard the £30 ones, spend £50, and they tend to last. Again, cheaper knobs/handles on the cheaper range, much the same internals.

I always fit MX Atmos mixers and my customers love them.
