So I've already had one catastrophic hard drive failure, and really don't want to do it again. I back up to a second hard drive, but in reality, most of my stuff is going to be in my house, so a fire would wipe out the lot. Music, I use Apples Match, so I can get the copies of everything I have back (plus that's only money at the end of the day)
Pictures, where's best to back up to? Cloud access over several devices (ipad, phone, laptops etc) would be great, but I'm not sure what's best. Thoughts please?
Google drive?
Was going to use it but the app crashed, so haven't got round to it. It seems better than iCloud - iCloud shares the photos between all systems with it installed, so could cause disk space issues. (Did on my iPad.)
I use www.crashplan.com, but will move to www.backblaze.com when my year is up. Crash plan works fine, but I like the idea that backblaze can send you all your stuff on a disk if you need, rather than relying on downloads.
I upload to Flickr, which acts as my backup.
