The Pyramid grave:

Far more interesting than the Abbey opposite. AKA the Dan Brown church.

Attempting the impossible climb on the E Bike. The stream burst the bank over the winter (again) and turns the track into a rocky, loose ball bearing ride. Failed again!

A little bit of work on the exit from the new trail.

The lovely dry trails are now mucky again but it is so nice to get out for an hour.

Lovely being out under the trees in the dapples light. Sadly one of the old guard gave up clinging onto the hillside last night, never nice seeing a old one go down.

Love trees.

Not a photo, but a video of yesterday's ride, sorry for the quality but I wasnt paying £60 for the software to remove the watermark so just screenshot it which unfortunately means you miss out on the tyre rumble and birdsong of the original.

Drove over to West Woods near Marlborough, a place I often go to this time of year, a few on here will know the place, I think. Perfect day, a few people about, unsurprising really, it’s not far from Marlborough and there’s lots of surrounding villages. The bluebells are nowhere near their peak yet, so worth going over again in a couple of weeks, I think.

These Sarcen stones are exactly the right height for sitting on, enjoying a flask of tea and enjoying the silence, apart from the birdsong.

Things are that boring even Baba Yaga’s Hut’s legless!

The little bee was just taking off when I took this.

Found some good street signs yesterday, quick blast through Kent's Bottom was pleasing...... (Didn't get a photo of that sign 🙁 )

Even found some grass up the middle.

Ride to work this morning.

The picture's not all that, but you can just see a heron sitting on the canal side at about the middle of the photo.
It was a good ride, I hardly saw anyone and conditions were ideal.

I thought most cyclists were being pretty responsible in the face of this lockdown, but out walking today I spotted this flagrant disregard for social distancing.

Theres no way that's 2 metres!

Should I report them?

Summer tyres on my winter bike while my summer bike is out of action and I’m loving it .

My new lock down loop gives me a 2 mile downhill and this is the top of it. If there’s a longer off-road downhill inside the M25 I’d be surprised.

Cut up to my usual loop via the city centre instead today as it's quieter! Was rather peaceful where I stopped for a short rest. That tree under the bridge is massive btw, so big they can't remove it easily.

Particularly liking the trees and dogs on this thread.

Here's today's adventure. Since the wee guy upgraded himself from toddlebike to balance bike we're going to bits of our village I've never seen. It's great.

Cool, thanks 🙂
Yeah, journey is about half n half gravel/road, so the G-ones are ideal. Did get a puncture on the way, but only reason I knew about it was I got sprayed with jizz up the back of my leg! Made it the rest of the way without pumping the tyre. 🙂

I've got WTB Riddlers on my Camino (not tubeless) they're nice but puncture easily.
Thankfully they're getting quite worn now so I have an excuse to buy new tyres

Have got to a stage now, where I just replace G-Ones with G-Ones. They're not cheap (in TR version) so usually snap them up off ebay or in sales

A lovely jaunt out to the Singing Ringing Tree near Burnley this morning. Having not ridden a road bike for years, I am absolutely loving these empty roads. After I took this shot I did the descent from up here for about 5 miles down into Waterfoot and I wasn't passed by a single car. mental!

Gentle spin out on a running rest day to get the legs moving. River towpath was expectedly busy for a friday afternoon at 20 degrees.

Came back a different way, set 2 PB's on a couple of climbs, one of which I've not been able to better for aaaaaages, and by 6 seconds on a 1:20 climb... 😀
