Looking for a photography website/forum
looking on Google there are loads
which ones are the best?
any experiences good/bad

Thanks,I've taken a bit of an interest in photography recently
and looking for i suppose a singletrack type site/forum
for help and the usual banter

talkphotography is always useful for me, always found the advice I was after there.

I use Nikonians a lot. Helpful advice. If I've got a problem with my camera (a Nikon, surprisingly) someone else has usually already had it and solved it. I think it's still a valid resource even if you're not a Nikon user.

It's almost certainly the biggest and most active UK forum - loads of meetings, helpful advice and a good mix of pros and amateurs.

Definitely recommended.
