We go away tomorrow for 3 days in the Lakes - like many, first nights away in over a year. 9.30pm last night dog comes hobbling in from the garden barely able to walk and holding his front right paw up!

Bathed it, checked it - couldn't see anything obvious - we'll see what he's like in the morning we think...
...and he's worse. So trip to the vets this afternoon and we'll see what they say.

Looks like we'll be nursing a poorly dog in the hotel now rather than a few nice walks.

I must have been really bad in a previous life! 🤣

It's a well known fact that holidays are when everything happens.

Been waiting for a solar install for nearly a year now...... Want to install next week. I'm on hols.

MIL had a habit of getting very poorly prior to our holidays. Hospital jobs, with SIL saying 'if she dies are you coming straight back'. Had this for years. Guess what, she's still here and in fine fettle.

We've had one of the cat's quite poorly too - one needed surgery, but fortunately the cattery was owned by the vet, so she was looked after, and had her op whilst we were away.

One of mine is doing that. Is it a common problem?

Is it doing it on the others you have? If not, it isn't common...
