I recently came across the music of Chet Baker and am really enjoying it. Wikipedia and other articles of his life, his story is tragic. A beautiful man with the looks of James Dean, sweet tenor singing voice great trumpet talent destroyed by heroin addiction. Badly beaten, losing most of his teeth over an unpaid drug debt in the 60's, temporarily stopping him playing trumpet. Surprising living until the age of 59. Dying of possible suicide in Amsterdam still a drug addict.
Has that similar Jake La Motta fall from grace feel about him.
So, I was hearing that a film about his life has just come out starring Ethan Hawke which I am keen now to see. Is there anyone famous or otherwise whose positive or negative life stories deserve a wider audience?

It'd be like Entourage, but really, really intense and very sad. So not much like Entourage.

There's a really gruesome documentary about Vlad, chewkw. I can't remember the exact title, but it was really well made and I remember feeling really terrible afterwards!

No one would believe it Pete! Anyway, still working on the conclusion...
I'd like a film of Woody Guthries excellent autobiography 'Bound for Glory'. There was one done before but it's begging for a new version. Just make sure Leo isn't in the lead role.
The Kardashians ....
