Current offers if you sign up

Get an Essenza Mini (RRP £89) and 50 original capsules for £59

Buy 200 Vertuo capsules and get a free Vertuoline Plus machine (RRP £179)

I've already got Vertuo in the office, but ordered the Essenza for the caravan. Might get the Vertuo plus for the kitchen

looks like 100 free capsules actually (at least from JL)

Tempted even though I've already got a machine 🤔 (always good to have a spare 😂)

Dunno that I'd consider the Vertuo one a good deal; they are trying to lock you into buying those capsules from them forever as there's no 3rd party alternatives. Bit like buying a cheap printer then paying through the nose for replacement ink

Good spot. The Essenza mini inc 100 capsules for £59 is a good bargain. It takes the original capsules too, unlike the Vertuo.

On the subject of pod machines...

I'm looking at buying one, fits anyone have any experience of the lavazza modo mio at all or the illy ones?

I'm only really after something to do a reasonable espresso, no milk or long coffee.

I've tried a few Nespresso over the years at hotels and they've been consistently reasonable but not great, though they're much better at being a pod machine than anything I've ever had awesome coffee from.

Are the pods refillable yet? All seems a bit wasteful to me.

I’ll say it. I like Nespresso machines, I like the coffee and I don’t mind the Amazon cheapo pods. I do struggle with the waste though and that is why I went bean to cup. I also to support local roasters

You can certainly get refillable ones for Nespresso, modo mio, illy and dolce gusto.

The "issue" is essentially you're turning it into a less good normal espresso machine by adding in all the faff a pod machine is intended to eliminate.
