my PSU smells like it's burning so I removed it.
Clearly I need a new one as it was very hot.
Are all the connectors the same on all PSU's? I have an old motherboard pata IDE hard drives etc...not wishing to write the whole lot off for the sake of a PSU.

They're not all the same but I think they'll all have PATA connectors. If it's an older PC might be able to get one on Freecycle.
