We are off to Cherbourg with our bikes for a camping and Normandy beach trip for a week in Sept. Poole is many miles from where we live, so i will have to drive down and leave the car somewhere. The ferry terminal appears to be £7 a day.....is there anywhere cheaper? Or any chance of parking on the road?
