Tuchel showing how out of his depth Frank Lampard was?

You wouldn’t think it was the same team..

Is he not just the German Sam Alladyce then?

I’ve not watched the last couple of Chelski games but his first few games looked that way. A nil nil against Leeds would suggest the same

Far from it.

The Leeds game was a very good game of football, the score really doesn’t tell the full story.

Not sure his wife would be so keen, the city’s dentists and tetanus industry might be more keen.

He's scored loads in Serie A this season, but thats a very different league from the premiership, largely conducted at walking pace

Shows how much I know. I thought he'd gone to Italy. Just having a quick google it seems the story is that Suarez would be coming if Salah is going.

I know the opinion in my Scouse mates is that they should cash in and sell Salah in the summer anyway.

Is anybody bored enough to watch Engerlands tedious nil nil draw with San Marino tonight? Or is life simply too short for that nonsense?

If the Suarez rumours are true he’d take Firmino’s place surely? He’s been well off it this season.

I can't get my head around how GOOD San Marino are. Pop 30,000. I live in Guildford and our population is 5x that. How they don't lose by a rugby score is a miracle.

Italian c team, probably still better than most Sunday league teams.

I liked the suggestion of giving stones a pair of gloves and playing an extra striker.

as for the mount comment some perspective....

Mount only played 45 minutes here and this was international football's version of an open goal but he proved again he is a prodigious worker, constant creator and a player who is developing at a rapid rate.

He created eight chances in open play in his 45-minute appearance. The last player to create more in an entire match in a European World Cup qualifier was Spain's Xavi, who managed nine against Bosnia & Herzegovina in 2008.

This is elite company.

They definitely are better and their keeper had a great game to be fair - two or three really good saves. There isn't a hope that a Sunday League keeper would have been anywhere near those.

What happened to West Brom yesterday? From the highlights I saw they were showing Chelsea up before the sending off.

Chelski were absolutely all over the place from the off. West Brom played them off the park. The sending off was because they’d been forced by West Brom into desperate last-ditch defending

Big Sam doing what Big Sam does. A proper ‘WTF??!!!’ Result

In the past you’d always say ‘it’s not pretty’ but the West Brom goals were all brilliant football. They tore Chelski apart.

That's what surprised me - they showed real quality but are stuck in real trouble

Well, predictably as ever, we took the opportunity of everybody else dropping points to do that the hard way. Didn’t turn up until the second half at home, as usual

Chelsea - West Brom, don't think I've laughed at a football match that much for a long time. Not only at Chelski's demise but rather Brom's excellentce.

The 4th Diagne goal, just like watching Brasil.

City seem in control but the defence is looking shaky and the ref is rubbish. Bellingham's goal was fine.

Awful refereeing in the city game, we are very lucky to have that Bellingham goal chalked off, thankfully the pen decision was reversed, but the ref has been overly fussy right from the start. I thought prem referees were bad but this is embarrassing for a quarter final in the CL.

The city defence have kept Harland quiet but left gaps elsewhere doing so, just his presence on the pitch is causing them to play his reputation more than the game in front of them.

I am starting to tire of Pep's lack of respect for my fantasy football team.

Brilliant performance by 10-man Leeds today, and at the fortress Etihad Stadium. That's 4 points we've taken off the soon to be champions. Hope we can have similar performances in our next games against Liverpool and Man Utd! MOT

tbh I wasn’t expecting anything out of that game before kick off, thought this batch of 3 games would be very difficult.

When Cooper got sent off (for a lesser foul than Baldock got nothing for last week) I thought it’d be a cricket score to Citeh.

Well done lads, not just for hanging on, but for stealing a win right at the death. MOT!

Mathematically West Brom could still catch us, but would need them to win twice as many games as they’ve managed all season, Leeds to lose all remaining games, and a 30 goal swing. Fulham & Sheffield can’t catch us now.

Some tasty games today. Who’d have thought at the start of the season that West Ham v Leicester would be a top four six-pointer?

You’d have to be mad to put money on who’s going to be in those three places behind city at the end of the season.

Us v Spurs should be a very different affair from last time too. I expect that Maureen will just have got the keys to the double-decker he’ll be driving this afternoon

I just hope we don’t have a repeat of Lamella’s utterly pathetic histrionics that got Tony sent off. In a hotly contested field it has to go down as the most shameless dive of the season. But knowing Jose, that’ll no doubt all be part of the game plan too

Poor Bruno. Imagine arriving at OT to find out you're  only there to replace Ashley Young in the 10m competition
