Tell me about them...please. I have always been intrigued by them but never got around to buying any. I normally listen to metal, jazz, blues so usually end up buying that sort of stuff.

Download a track from the album Pungent Efulgent, that should tell you all you need to know. FWIW I recon they're a fantastic band, I remember being very "confused" at Ozrics gigs back in the day ;o)

Can you call it Space Rock? Synthy, swooshy stuff for dopeheads (and like minds) with keyboards and plenty of unusual guitar work from Ed.

Saw them in a quadruple-header with two other bands and Spiritualized and they were OK, not the sort of thing you'd put on for a full-on dance party, but worth a punt if you are curious, or off your tits!

Spiritualized were great on that night, but absolute garbage the next time I saw them, kind of right place, right time thing really...

Saw them live at the Furnace last year. Brilliant gig really enjoyed it and it was quite intimate in a small venue.

Personal favourite is Erpland, an early album and the one I'd recommend as a sampler - tuneful, accessible and v creative. Not sure if I'd pay to watch them live - for me they're more about chilling in a darkened room with a good hifi.

strangely have been getting back into them recently - very good for the ipod at work. remember seeing them back, oo in about 1993 and missing the last train home and spending the night in a shop doorway.

definatley worth a punt live, although I would recommend being off ones taters for the best experience.

Eat Static were/are fantastic live, Abduction is indeed a great album - seen them a few times.

Saw Ozrics at Brixton Academy (Decadog) - largely passed me by, might not have been their fault though 😉

Saw them a few times back in the day (tm).

IMO, and funnily enough, you need to be in an otherworldy state before you really 'get' the Ozrics.

Also IMO they went downhill after pungent and then ed and jo went of to do eat static

Saw them at Brixton Academy one NYE quite awhile ago now, fun but crap really, like most of their albums.
