In 1989, I was 12 and just about to start my second year at Big School. I don't think I'd fit into my old uniform though.

When I left uni in 1999 I weighed 10.5 stone and I'm 11.5 stone now. All muscle though ๐Ÿ˜‰

Ironcally I've got the same cut I had in 1991 when I joined the Army..

Only this time its because I have gone bald natually, not courtesy of an over zelous Barber..

Didn't know you were kiwi, Mike!

I came across a set of passport photos a couple of days ago, taken when I was about 17. I think that thread may be one for next friday so people have chance to get stuff scanned ๐Ÿ™‚

Funnily enough I've just been looking at holiday snaps from 1988 . . . so, yes ๐Ÿ˜ณ (via a few different incarnations). And, yes, you're all just babies ๐Ÿ˜‰ . . . 20 years ago I was heading for the Birthday of Doom (well, 3 years away).

I have 2 pr of undercrackers I still use from 1980ish, but they do have good elastic in them!. I think I was a 28" waist then, I'm a 32" waist now. They only get worn when I'm really really desperate for undies.

Yup.
I occasionally wear some flared levis and gig shirts from when I was about 17 (46 now).

Also got...ahem.. a mid blue crimplene safari suit from when I was about 15, still fits me a treat - I've been pretty much the same size since then. And it's still waiting for the next 70's party to come round !

Oh go on ali, you know you want to. I'll post up pics of me in my 20 yr old winkle picker shoes and heavy metal patch adorned jacket if you do. Or if you don't, whichever is the most effective, promise or threat

My dad (59) still claims to wear the same size trousers as when he was 21, with a 32" waist. Of course, now they're fastened a little lower...

I thought the waistline for old men gradually approached their armpits ??
