Why do these things always happen on Friday evening?
Neff double oven. Top oven fan still works but no heat - bottom oven fine. Likely a thermostat?
Any pointers appreciated!

Is the light staying on to indicate that it's not reached temperature? If so, then probably the element. If not, then probably the thermostat.

Meter out the contacts of the disconnected element.

Does the light come on when you open the door? If so you may be looking at the fridge.
