I think he’ll start giving up on being around the ManU games soon, he’s starting to develop ticks when Fred is mentioned!
Have we ever seen Roy Keane and binners in the same room? 🤔

Christ, imagine that scenario, you'd be able to hear tutting and loud exhaling of breath if those two were in a room chatting about ManU!
I really don't think anyone deserves having that inflicted on them. The two of us together could generate some kind of critical mass of eye-rolling, scowling and muttered expletives

🤣
Think the sad thing from that clip is that Roy Keane just can’t even be bothered getting angry about it, he’s pretty much accepting that they are just unfixable just now.
Doesn't deserve to pull on his pundit's shirt if he's not even going to put the effort in. 🙂
Come and watch Huddersfield Town on ITV (4) tonight – 18 match unbeaten streak, second in the Championship, the prize of a home tie vs Liverpool in the FA Cup QF.
Don't have a TV or license but I'll be keeping an eye on the home team, I think Hudds will win tbh, going very well at the moment, and with some of our best players currently on loan they'll not have the shop window of a Prem team to get flashy in front of so I think the energy will be a bit lower, they've also looked knackered of late.
Looks like Everton are well and truly in the relegation mix now
I think they’re the only team that can rival us in the “you spent how much?! …. On who?!!!” Stakes
The Forest Huddersfield game is a cracking good one…
Good news Binners, Frank Lampard might be after a job in the summer ;o)
He’s a shoe-in, overseeing performances like this 😂
I was about to suggest that Spurs would lose their next game, whoever it was, but then I saw it was Man United and now I'm confused.
(Stolen from the BBC sport page, but made me laugh!)
,,^^
They'll be no winner's in that game
Who's this Alexis Sanchez fella, he looks great. I'm sure he played for Barcelona too.
Chelsea have been "nationalized" :/
Blimey - going to be fun sorting all that out! No tickets can be sold and only season ticket holders can go to matches, and the shop is closed too. Crazy times...
does that mean no away fans ? and no broadcasting from the games ?
My interpretation would be no away fans - no idea about the broadcasting, that's part of the nightmare to sort out I guess!
Blimey.
Speaking of clubs owned by shady national governments (see what I did there), worth watching the highlights of the Real PSG game - pretty spectacular collapse.
Chelsea have been “nationalized”
Pretty much guaranteed relegation then.....
Chelsea fans already (somewhat predictably) bleating on the Five Live how 'it's so not fair!' and sticking up for poor old Roman, who's been so hard done by.
One of them has just said 'when the Americans bombed Iraq, were American club owners sanctioned?'
With PSG out of the CL Poch will surely get the boot, it will leave him available for Man U.
I thought it was a strange game which seemed to start at a very slow pace with PSG then in the ascendency, but once Benzema got the first goal PSG just crumbled. For all their attacking talent they weren't very impressive, it also means they have three players who won't track back at all.
The Liverpool game felt very different, it was a very fast paced game with the referee seemingly unwilling to give any fouls, with challenges getting progressively stronger until he finally gets conned by a dive.
lots of comments on Twitter etc that the "S" in PSG means "Spursy"
😆
There was only one big game last night.
Hartlepool v Rotherham in the Pizza Trophy Semi Final.
Up the Millers.
Premier League club frozen as part of action; proposed sale halted for time being
Chelsea club shop must close, no more match tickets can be sold
Fans who bought season tickets or individual match tickets before today can attend games.
Club can fulfil fixtures and pay wages of all employees, including players and coaching staff.
They can pay "reasonable" costs of travel to and from fixtures but not exceeding £20,000 per game per team.
Pay "reasonable" costs towards hosting home fixtures, not exceeding £500,000 per fixture per team.
Broadcasters can broadcast any fixture involving the club.
From BBC...
If I was a Norwich fan going to the game this evening, I’d be busy photocopying a load of 10 Rouble notes and handing them out for home fans to wave them at the away end. 😀
BBC report monthly wage bill to be £28m, which Abramovich frequently pays/has to top up.
The land the ground is on must be worth a bob or two……
nice to see the government has a good handle on football, as football and profit are oxymorons ;? . I have this image of poor ol' Roman snatching the petty cash from the club shop.
Unless Chelsea get a similar owner with lots of spare cash to bankroll them then I can't see it ending very well. They've not been smart enough about making the club stand on its own two feet
nice to see the government has a good handle on football
They all discovered it in 2020 when Engerland reached the semi-finals, then undiscovered it again once they lost

I wouldn't bank on either of those pair being able to summarise the offside rule
Anyway.. looks like Chelski are going to lose a good few players as they're not allowed to negotiate any contracts. Don't Chelsea famously have more players on their books that any other team in Europe? How do they stand with selling players? Are they all in limbo, contrract-wise now?
Priti Vacant almost looks human in that photo
It's just a trap though .... she was smiling 'cos she was watching a livestream of a basket full of immigrant kittens drowning just off Le Havre
She's actually just fed a load of puppies into a wood-chipper

I'm still scratching my head about why folk think Pocchetino is the answer to the ManU problem, as has been joked about, he's brought the Spursy spirit to PSG, probably one club that has more talent on their books than ManU, and he's not exactly showing how to win over and change prima donna's, or getting more out of the players, christ who would have thought Spursy was contagious!
They’ve not been smart enough about making the club stand on its own two feet
apart from creating one of the best academies in the world.
Chelsea have the money to buy a lot of young talent and keep them contracted whilst they go out on loan forever, that costs money which has to come from somewhere. There's also hardly many first team players that have come through the academy, it's hardly keeping the club afloat.
Legally, as it stands, whoever buys Chelski still technically owes a Mr R Abromovic 1.5 Billion Quid
BBC are reporting that a lot of sponsors are bailing out as the 'brand' is now so toxic.
Wasn't it always?
Actually... if they need someone good at drumming up new sponsorship, theres someone available...

😂
EDIT: 3 have just confirmed that they're pulling their sponsorship and demanding their logos are removed from the kit and the stadium
probably one club that has more talent on their books than ManU
Hold on, this suggests that ManU has the second most talented squad in football behind PSG!?
3 have just confirmed that they’re pulling their sponsorship and demanding their logos are removed from the kit and the stadium
Ooof!
3 have just suspended their sponsorship. Can't see how Roman can get any money for the club or be repaid the £1.5 billion he is apparently owed. Couldn't have happened to a 'nicer' club!
Hold on, this suggests that ManU has the second most talented squad in football behind PSG!?
We've not even got the second most talented squad in Manchester
I appreciate that Abramovich owns Chelsea and he deserves being sanctioned but surely the club itself being hit too hard isn't an ideal solution. Does sponsoring Chelsea mean you support Abramovich? Binners hates the Man U owners but wouldn't stop supporting the club because of it.

They were, quite frankly, nothing of special significance without/before him - an occasional FA Cup at most. Being taken back to where they were before R.As money is hardly being hit too hard - just reminding them what competition actually is.
The land the ground is on must be worth a bob or two……
Yeah, but the club don't own the pitch. From memory the supporters club do, gifted in the past to stop them doing an MK Dons.
3 have just confirmed that they’re pulling their sponsorship and demanding their logos are removed from the kit and the stadium
Presumably the kitman has to iron them off, what with the club shop being shut
Does sponsoring Chelsea mean you support Abramovich?
To a large extent yes - in sponsorship you are trying to align your brand with a brand you believe in so…
Discussing the theory at lunchtime: as soon as Mr A writes those loans off and they are no longer a liability on the balance sheet, Chelski are going to have a LOT of financial fair play issues...
