I'm being dragged along to see this tonight. Its supposed to be a very good production, but I'm not a big Shakespeare fan. So what I'm after is a very short plot summary - lets say no more than 20 words - so I have a rough idea whats going on. No links to wikipedia please - I've been there and its far too long 😐

black man married to beautiful and cultured white woman. Is a bit insecure about it. "Best" friend jealous, spreads rumour she is having an affair. Man falls for it. In fit of jealousy kills wife. Realises error. commits suicide.

I saw this recently and really enjoyed it. It took a few minutes to stop waiting for Lenny Henry to be funny but I thought he was good in it. Iago does go on a bit in the first half, in these long monologues, and I found him the least easy actor to understand. The second half was really entertaining though, so overall worth seeing.
