at my place of work we have 150-200 logitechs webcams sitting in a cupboard, due to a previous manager's hair-brained remote training plan.

we have tried selling them on ebay but had no takers...

anybody interested?

I'll take a couple if they're going free for my own hair-brained scheme 😀

might be interested in one or two? What model are they? How much you looking for each?

Unless you're looking to sell all 200 in one go in which case to quote Duncan Bannytyne "I'M OUT"

Get down to Wickes and buy a load of timber

Build a frame that its semicircular and horizontal.

Put the 200 webcams on the frame at evenly spaced intervals

Connect to 200 PCs (this may be a stumbling block!)

get the webcams to take stills pictures all at the same time whilst someone jumps in the air in front of them

use the captures to make a bullet time movie

Muck about for rest of day until bored!

Sell them as a job lot on Ebay rather than individually?

Combine them all together to make a gigapixel video camera? Not sure I'd want to do the software behind it though.

the number available has just decreased rapidly - one colleague has just put 20 in his car, and a few boxes of 4 have just been handed out like sweets.

i'll check the model number and let you know how many are left

Have you tried selling them one at a time on ebay?

Was he seen departing in the direction of the nearest nursing college?

not trying to be funny but don't these things have any 'value' in the companies books?

I'd be pee'd off if employees started wandering off with more kit than they could reasonably use themselves just 'cos no one was using it...

One would assume they've been given the go-ahead to get shut of them, seeing as it's been "proved" that they have no resale value.

they are a few years old and have effectively been 'written-off'

we tried selling them in batches and in singles on ebay but didn't have any interest

They are Logitech quick cam chat's like this...
http://www.ciao.co.uk/Productinformation/Logitech_Quickcam_Chat__6203614

they are quite old, but never opened - all the boxes are still sealed

£4.00 each? plus postage?
