I'm trying to set a USB drive as bootable, and I'm looking for the option set it as GUID in disk utility, but the only options I have are Apple Partition scheme or PC partition scheme.
It running Tiger and I'm trying to upgrade it to Snow Leopard
am i missing something blatant? (being a Windows user..)

Have you made a new partition? I think more options become available once you've done that.
