Having read that Orro was now not going into Liquidation in November I decided to order something from the website a week back. Not a big thing, under £40  and on the credit card so I'm protected. But since the confirmation email I've heard nowt. Order is still showing as pending. Their number is continually engaged. And no response to my email. Previous orders back in 2023 were all dispatched very promptly. Although I believe most or all of the old stauff were made redundant so not sure who is fulfilling things.

So, I'm now wondering what my chances are actually receiving the product are. Has anyone ordered successfully this side of Christmas?

Cheers!

Section 75 protection not eligible under £100. You can use chargeback under £100 but it is more hassle

In my experience Amex will reimburse any amount if you raise a claim.

Quick update. Chargeback successful. Still no communication direct to me from Orro.

My advice is don't buy anything from them!

So the bottom line is that the staff have been shafted, the suppliers have been shafted, probably many customers have been shafted but the MD, responsible presumably for the bad decisions that led to this fiasco is remployed and off to work with the same stock as before as if nothing has happened. The administrators are laughing all the way to the bank as usual and there we go - please buy our bikes…..get ****ed I will.

Thing I find difficult to get my head around is that the website is still apparently taking orders for the item they failed to send me. Maybe I'm just an isolated incident. But my instinct tells me I'm not. At what point do the financial companies that process their sales call time?
