It's on MCN - assuming you believe them. Not usually the most reliable.

McGuinness has broken his leg. I guess that's him out of the TT as well 😡

What's the reason for Guy pulling out?

Last I heard was that the bike McGuinness crashed was still been looked at by the scrutineers so because the team can't look it at to see if there was a problem they pulled Guy out to be on the safe side.

Seems sensible.

More improtantly than Guy, will that be retirement for McGuinness, at 45 it may be a deciding thing for him I reckon

So it would appear that the story should be "get well soon John" - fractured lower leg and it most likely puts him out of the TT.

They've only pulled Guy Martin from the race because they made the decision after reviewing the bikes ECU, which makes you think there was a bike failure rather than rider talent

It was an unusual corner for an experienced rider like McGuiness to crash, marks on the road were unusual and machine error could not be ruled out without a full check on telemetry. They pulled the official honda stock and superbike from the race as a precaution.

Guy will still race the supersport bike which unfortunately isn't an up to date bike and isn't up to speed.

It will all be live on BBC website today from 10am I think

"get well soon John" - fractured lower leg

It's a lot more than a fractured leg...

Honda have had problems setting up the fueling all season,it's a new bike & runs a fly by wire throttle system.Kawasaki had similar problems the other season.
