It's not a total loss for the hapless owner though, because according to reports he's already become popular among celebrities as a result of the crash - claiming that Arnold Schwarzenegger called him when he heard the news.

Reminds me of that scene in Risky Business where (a very young) Tom Cruise's father's Porsche 928 ends up in a lake and it's been recovered and taken to the local garage. The guy from the garage comes to talk to Cruise and asks 'OK who's the submarine commander?'!
