Seemingly not (I'll try not to post that several times and end up with a long list of the same comment)

They obviously still need to fit the curtain pole, to provide their privacy?

Or Storm Eowyn blew the rest of the conservatory away?

But really, **** knows! That's very odd.

I'm guessing thing under cover is a table tennis tennis table, and glazing is to prevent errant balls going to far! 😁

While that makes sense, I much prefer

On a more actual answeru type note.

I imagine its inplace to allow visibility for dog or light or just nosey humans etc but reducing a howling wind whipping round the end of the house.

Would probably make quite a difference even to the inside of the hut.

Yup, probably to reduce draughts from prevailing wind. Mate of mine's got this, makes a massive difference to his patio area.

Wind break? We have a (solid) fence across our patio to reduce the gales that howl across. Makes sitting out in summer pleasant not cold!

we put a wind break around our patio too. Its pretty much essential in scotland.

But then we thought it would be better with a roof too. And then a door and radiators, sofa, telly and somewhere to cook. Madame thought a loo would be good, so we put one in. Then some bedrooms. and even somewhere to wash.

It's perfect now and I love my house. Ive got plans to put a patio in next summer

The best thing for a wind break is a hedge. Every garden should have one.
