Anyone here willing to admit they have tried one?

Do they do anything, are they any good?

Wife has heard they may be great from a friend of a friend and suggested I get her one for Christmas. The money is no problem, I am just wondering if she will every use it once she has realised how it works and secondly if it will actually work.

Pros and cons please

It'll end up in the loft with all the other junk.

Actually, why not have a hunt around in the loft, see if there's owt you've got her in the past, what she's forgotten about? Then give her that.

Ta-daaa! Money saved, and you don't have to waste time shopping, you can go down the pub instead!

I know; I'm brilliant, aren't I? ๐Ÿ˜€

Elfin - I some how doubt you are a woman and therefore not eligible to answer. Also, it won't end up in the loft - there is no room!

Never tried one, WCA. A suggestion for you ... a gift voucher from a local beauty salon where Mrs WCA could visit, say once a month, to try out all the different treatments. A monthly pamper, as it were. ๐Ÿ™‚

See ... you luv us girlies on here with our brilliant ideas. 8)

Yes, the idea of a voucher at the salon sounds much better - though I'd also be happy with the Scalextric!!!

Ditch the cynicism iDave. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Edit: it's more of a treat with a salon professional. So many different treatments to choose from.

There must be plenty of places near you? Even hotels have beauty salons.
