Just found the old simpsons 4 player arcade game tucked away in the back of an arcade. I had a 2 player game with the nipper who looked puzzled at the joy stick and two buttons and said...

"what do you do with that".!!!

Good lord I am not that old am I.?

Kids of today eh.?

No probably not as it was early 90s wasn't it. I loved the old table top arcade games that came out where one person would sit one side and the another opposite for fantastic 2 player action.

Phoenix and Asteroids

I remember typing the games out. Syntax error in line 5878. I had a C64 (with Vic1541 disk drive because I was posh). Also had a daisywheel printer that you had to change th ewheel to get italics. Mt grandad had an Amstrad CPC64 (i think)

Favourite games on the C64 were Bruce Lee, Attack of the Mutant Camels, Spyhunter, Hovver Bovver, JSW etc

Oh - and Beach Head. Ace game.

A few years ago there was an working original pub space invaders machine in the pub at Ribblehead in the Dales (near the train station and viaduct), the one that was like a little black table with the screen as the tabletop.

That will be the Station Inn then
