MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
its the version off the live at massey hall concert recordings, it sounds like he re tunes the guitar before hand to some open tuning, (he even does a little run through arpeggio of the strings beforehand) but i still cant do it.... grrrrrrr
whats the tuning and chords
anyone?
searched youtube, various tab sites all they give you is the standard chords......
Is it me or is Neil Young the worst guitarist on the planet. It sounds like he's retuning the thing as he's playing.

S'what I play anyway and it sounds about right to me 🙂
Oi, enough of that 👿
Nowt wrong with Neil Young, godfather of grunge and non-conformist.
Edit: you need guitarhero to read this thread or any of the other guys from the recent Forum session.
there's a great cheeky trail that goes round the back of his house...... in the Redwoods between San Fran bay and the coast near Santa Cruz
Bloody marvelous jahwomble, many thanks!!!!
S'quite alright.....I'll warn you now it's one of those fingers all over the bloody place jobs though 🙂
Check out Crosby Stills Nash & Young "4 Way Street", CD2, for some pretty cool guitar playing. Such as "Southern Man", "Ohio", "Carry On". 8)
Ohio is 'kin terrific, was listening to that earlier 🙂
I have seen Dave Crosby, Steve Stills and Graham Nash in concert. It was a long time ago. 😳
Edit: I rather like Steve Stills music anyway. His son has played with Ryan Adams.
The countdown has started to the Joe Bonamassa gig in May. Can't wait to see him again and he has a new album out soon. He is awesome. 8)
