Feeling a bit peckish at work, found some cream crackers in the cupboard so snuck a couple of them out. Then thought to look in the fridge for something tasty to pilfer a wee bit of as a 'smear'... mmmm, cream cheese, perfect I think...

What's the most disgusting thing you've found in your fridge?

nice, Yossarian, nice. Keep getting the Ashes digs in wherever possible....!

(Old joke time....;

I rang the Aussie dressing room the other day and asked to speak to Ricky Ponting.
"He's just gone out to bat", came the reply.
"It's OK, I'll hold")

Not found in the fridge, but I once discovered two slices of tray bake I'd left in a cake tin for about 3 months - they had sprouted mold, decomposed, and the decomposition products had eaten through the plastic coating on the tin and were merrily munching through the metal of the tin itself ... oops

blue cheese is generally very tasty. Blue cream cheese; not so appealing.

Did it smell? Did you smell the cheese, you mother?

Found a piece of cheese that had been sitting at the back of my fridge for a good few months. A wonderful covering of mould all over, I removed the mould and the cheese underneath was beautiful. Hmmmmmmmm, matured cheese.

I also had the pleasure of going into a room where the rejected Stilton was kept in a creamery store in Crewe. Let's justsay that it wasn't kept under ideal conditions and I seem to remember it came to the storeroom door to greet us. Pongy!

Ah, that reminds me of the time I left a nice ripe camembert in the fridge at work overnight. I was verging on over, so I thought I'd leave it in the fridge to prevent further ripening ... the whole department reeked the next morning. I was NOT popular.
