basically got a motorcycle in bits minus engine that I may ebay but not confident to quote postage cost options so basically I thought I'd say I'm happy to pack and deliver to a courier if necessary but they'd need to arrange and pay for it. Are there any risks or drawbacks to selling something this way rather than going through the hassle of working out what it'd cost to deliver ?
thanks in advance bill

I work on the basis I can send anything up to 32kgs for a maximum of £13 with Senditnow.com.

I always ignore all auctions that have excessive postage costs for this reason.

There is an item not received scam with Paypal that you need to watch out for.

The biggest risk would be not selling it. I buy a lot a stuff listed as 'collection only' because it goes cheap as you miss 95% of your market. You know how much it weighs so its only a couple of phone calls to get a price and significantly increase your market.
