[#9890907]

Daughter is at an audition-workshop thingy in Isleworth this evening from 1930-2130

What is there to do in the vicinity for 60-90 mins, other than get out of Isleworth?

I looked at swimming, but all the local centres seem to be run by a group and are for members and the like - anyone local-ish with any info?

am I misreading their timetable then..... says swimming lessons?

Ah - maybe I am - do I read that because the bar doesn't cover the whole width of the day they only take part of the pool? (cf for 'Closed- Club use' which does)

I could phone them i suppose ๐Ÿ˜‰

It's Open Mike night at the Red Lion, there's a few well respected west London musicians who'll be playing there.

You can do General Swim at Isleworth Pool 18:30-20:00/ 20:00-21:00. You know that Isleworth isn't in LB Richmond?ย Or in south west London.

Can you, not clear from the Fusion-Leisure website?

I know technically not SW London but you knew what i meant, and I'll happily listen to ideas of what to do in W London too if you want ๐Ÿ˜‰

Pools in the Park will have some lanes available until 9pm.

There are loads of pubs the other side of the A316 if you want a nice dinner.

Would have suggested cinema in Richmond but not much on at in that time frame.

Call Pools on the Park, because I have just remembered it is the Schools Borough Championships this evening and I can't remember when they finish.

I d have a walk along the river, maybe to brentford dock as i have never been there.ย  Riverside walks are brilliant for killing time as you can walk for 45 mins, then 45 back.ย  Maybe there s a ferry across to kew.

You could also go to the Sky Studios and hold a one man demonstration against Jamie Carragher.

Take your bike (say a CX or gravel **swoons**) and ride up the River Crane to the BMX track at Stockley Park, then ride back down the Grand union to Brentford and back to Isleworth. Should take about 2 hours unless you go mad at the BMX track.

Get yourself round Flashy's house.

He'll do you a steak.
