Can anyone recommend anyone - particularly one with some sports background/experience.
I don't know of any but be vary wary - anyone can call themselves a nutritionist - thats why you get loonies like McKeith. dietitians are qualified and registered.
A nutritionist might well be OK - but could equally well be a charlatan like McKeith with lots of impressive qualifications bought of the internet

not really - got blood tests yesterday which didn't show anything so it comes down to nutrition/diet and or my head ๐

Hilldodger - wrong. You cannot call yourself a dietitian unless you are registered and have the correct qualifications. You can call yourself a nutritionist with no qualifications - see McKeith.
This is to protect people from charlatans such as McKeith
TJ is right - nobody can call themselves a nurse without due qualifications but anyone can call themselves a nutritionist and anyone can create and hand out 'qualifications' and accreditations to nutritionists.
if i like fish and chips, it would have to be vinegar!
lots of reasons why i want to see one - general wellbeing/how i feel, female specific stuff, want to make sure i'm eating enough for the training i'm (well was) doing (more so as i don't eat meat and only eat fish occassionally) and because blood tests haven't shown up anything and i'm tired of feeling like this. i'm pretty sure a % of it is diet related.

Its possible to get phases of fatigue following the increase of intensity of your training. Sometime it's just that you are not getting enough carbs.
I get really rundown sometimes. I eat alot of organic food and I find it really helps. When I am eating well, less crap more of the fresh organic stuff-I generally feel more energetic.
I would look for a dietician who is registered.
