having just been persuaded by the kids to get a Wii we have done so !! . What's the general consensus on batteries - is it best/more cost effective to use removable rechargeables or one of those twin dockers things or what ?

advice appreciated

cheers

I use standard rechargables. Boots chargers/batteries are as good as any and much cheaper. The docking unit seems overpriced to me, but ok if you want to keep things tidy.

+1

for standard rechargables, way more cost effective esp if you have a digi camera

AA rechargeables, use them all over the place.

Depends how disciplined you and the kids are at keeping a stash of rechargeable organised and ready to use. We found it easier to get a four position dock which the console stands in, and it helps reduce clutter too.

Yep, standard rechargables here too. It seems expensive at first but when you've got about 20 and they're being rotated through camera flashes, remotes, GPS's, compact cameras....you realise just how cost effective they are.
