I use my DELL laptop primarily upstairs as a PC substitute. Now that I've found BBC iPlayer I'm using it downstairs plugged into the TV. Only trouble is that I keep having to unravel all the wiring to move the charger downstairs, then bring it back up. It's getting to be a pain, so the thought is to get another charger to leave downstairs.
Are they all the same, and if so is any one better than another, or do I have to get a DELL specific one?

no they are all different and dell will want top dollar, try maplins they can only say no

have a look on the bay there are loads, make sure its the same your original one.
