Certain species of birds have been observed solving "access to food" problems that, if the size of brains being an indication of levels of intelligence are to be believed, they should not be able so to do.
Let alone spend their time on STW forums... 😆
everyone i no u think im a theife and a bit thick but cum on who the fu-- is this lester, ive got the money to buy as many as want, you big headed freak
there are people selling their boyfriends bike who has left, dads selling their kids bikes etc one guy didnt know anything but wanted to sell his sons bike, his son had died recently!! one woman was selling her cheating husbands etc etc
And they all have an explanation and a link to where the bike originally came from. I also suspect those bikes are complete - the sellers know nothing about bikes, so why would they be taking them apart? Nor (I'm assuming again) do they have more than one of the same dismantled frame for sale. Some stories add up, some stink.
"ive got the money to buy as many as want"
but where from?
my view of the polices unwillingness to get involved with this is because there's other operations going on involving the same suspects that they are more keen to progress, but that's just a guess.
lester say he got the dolla, yes from bikes
this a bike freek show, if reported stolen why no one on here say they lost one ?
how do i put pic on ere

The only time I have heard/come across this was a Suzuki TS250? that my bestmates older brother owned- until he rode into a concrete post. His dad sold it for £200 (from memory).
My point is- its a common ruse used by fencers/thieves and stealing scrotes to 'legitimise' goods.
moz- where did you get the frames from ?
someone who knows a bit about bikes and deals with cars,
wat differance it make i don no
its for sale now anyway
No Moz you are an idiot and if you remember you said some frames were reported stolen from Jungle but they werent Ibis Mojo so i didnt need to worry which i replied i dont care its nothing to do with me.
and Moz you are an idiot because started out pretending not to be the seller when in fact you are!
but the main reason you are in idiot is because you are the only one who can put a stop to this by telling us where you got them, but you wont!!
oh and i am entitled to think you are an idiot for not knowing the difference between a new frame and old one, i will give you a clue, if its scratched and dirty its probably not new
moz - i'm not gonna take the p**s out of your spelling or grammar, but your attitude seems a bit (and I'm sorry if this sounds offensive) immature. How old are you, and how long have you been trading on e-bay?
Straight answers please.
"i dont care its nothing to do with me."
which is why everyone thinks you don't care if they are nicked or not.

Sweet Jesus! Have you followed this thread at all?
im amazed these ****s can even feed themselves let alone deal in high end frames.
i dont care its nothing to do with me
and there's the problem Lester, can you not see that?
You've gone quiet moz (or lester - fuctifino) - is there a problem?
waswas what business of yours is it where i get my money?? if you had read earlier i own a building firm i dont smoke or drink but i love bikes
Moz i dont think you are a thief!!!! and i dont think you are stupid but i think you are acting stupidly!!
llamafarmer why do you think the bike was taken apart? there are 5 pages of frames only just in aluminium and carbon mountain bikies on ebay, not all are stolen, the most common reason, and which is waht i do, people buy nice parts and change their frames and put the parts on them. some with parts some with shocks some with headsets, none of it means anything without more info.
and i think i said i would buy another one, if i wanted to
Lester - sorry, my observation was in response to the fact that you told moz you didn't care if the frame was stolen or not.
If you make your money from a building firm that's fine, it's what you spend it on that's being diiscussed.
So moz, are you gonna carry on going all round the houses, or are you gonna start being straight with people ?. I'll give you a hint, this is what's making the people on here suspicious. How old are you, and how long have you been trading?

Just to recap - You said that sometimes people who know nothing about bikes sell them on ebay legitimately. I agreed that was possible, but said I wouldn't expect someone who knows nothing about bikes to be stripping them down prior to sale with no explanation of where the missing parts have gone.
Warton, that is not where the problem lies the problem is with you presumptious people presuming a crime has been committed, in fact i think most of you now want it to have been stolen to back up all your unfounded comments.
when i said i dont care its nothing to do with me, i would have said it about anything the seller told me, i had the hump because i came all that way to buy a new frame and it was used, if he had told me he had a bugatti Veyron or was married to Pamela Anderson i would have said something very similar. And if you care so much about stolen bikes what active role do you play in the stopping of stolen bikes,is it confined to forums on the web? because i suggest that means you dont really care either
"what active role do you play"
well, I don't buy frames off moz so I think I've made a start...

No, the point is you bought a high value second hand bike frame from the back of a car without getting any sort of satisfactory explanation of its origin. The evidence presented so far suggests it's very dodgy and just about everybody on here (we love bikes too btw) would have stayed well clear because we also hate bike theft and buying that frame COULD be helping to fund/encourage it.
Would you buy building supplies from some random on ebay who knows nothing about what he's selling, but says he got it from a mate and it's definitely not stolen off a building site?
llama farmer i take your point but there must be people who just have frames in their loft hoping to build them one day, in various stages of build. i have 6 spare shocks and until i am sure which type, coil, air, etc i want to put on my new frame, it will be shockless, but i would never leave a bottom bracket in just in case i couldn get it out later, but i might sell the frame on like that. whic is one of the reasons i was more interested in getting a bargain on Mozs frame, because it was shockless and i had one, whereas someone else would have to add the cost of a shock to the frame,i didnt so i could have thoretically bid higher.
BarnsleyMitch i dont know how old Moz is but the seller was about 30 a bit gormless looking, smoked but generally pleasant enough
so why have you not posted i picture of the serial number clearly shown on the new frame? I could write a few numbers from the top of my head on here but showing them is another matter. The reason is that you now think its stolen. But dont care anyway. Also if you have so much disposable income why dont you buy new instead of dodgy stuff. To be fair this double act has gotta be a forum regular taking the p 🙂
My my, what a long thread this is turning into, and I'll be the first to admit that I've been feeding the troll as much as anyone. If Lester genuinely thought the frame was stolen, why would he continuously post on here attempting to defend himself?. And forgive me if I'm wrong, I think I've seen at least three different versions of how much he supposedly paid for it in the first place. As for moz - good laugh, but I'm not that convinced.
Yeah I'm beginning to think some extra special trolling is going on here too - still it's reasonably entertaining.
I'm still not sure whether he paid cash or paypal either...
Back under your bridge Lester/moz (mester?), and stay there until the next billy goat comes trip trip trapping.
barnsley i paid £50 deposit via paypal and £650 cash.
llama : i did not buy out of the back of car it was my choice, Moz gave me his address and phone number and asked me to collect from his house, hardly the actions to be suspicious of!!!!! but the train station suited me NOT moz!!
mi@k: the reason i dont n=buy new is obvious as soon as you buy a bike its worse 25% less if i decide i dont like it or want another and i take a loss, this way i can try lots of frames i wouldnt have been able to, like my Titus, like my Ventana , like my Kstrel do you see?
however i do buy new components and buy at least £50 of stuff from Chain reaction every week, Avid code 5s last week, Muddy mARYS THIS WEEK ETC ETC
the bikes have not been stripped, a name of a person i got from ? wat dose that prove, there not from stiff or jungle so this full 10 pages is about what ??????????????
yeah I have been feeding the troll and I'm sure thats what it is. As for the line asking what I do to stop bike theft. well like many on here I wouldn't buy a bike that even slightly looks like it may be stolen! thats all I can do really (apart from start a vigilante group!)

has anyone phoned Stif or Jungle and asked for Craig yet?
Warton, you could look on ebay for all the bikes being sold near where you live and if you suspect them being stolen you could send the seller an email saying you suspect its stolen and see what happens from there??
The WHOIS atk http://www.nominet.org.uk The WHOIS The WHOIS is Nominet’s free online search facility that you can use to find out whether a .uk domain name is available, and if not, details of who has registered it. Bit touchy today Lester? I was just pointing out that the domain name you mentioned earlier doesn't check out. The one you posted just now does, although if I were you, I'd be keeping my head down at this point...
You said you'd registered a site called ibis mojo owners not ibismojo.co.uk - dunno if Ibis will be very happy about that. 🙂
Mr agreeable i dont need to " keep my head down " i have done nothing wrong !! and if it turns out to be stolen then i have already said i would give it back. and as i didnt buy it knowingly stolen then hopefully that will be good enough
