Not sure about other train operators. But this bunch of muppets are useless. Currently stood up on yet another packed Mcr to Leeds train which has been stuck at Mills Hill for over 15 mins with no explanation or half hearted apology

I spent 9 years off and on using their trails on the liverpool>wigan line. Generally I've nothing good to say about them. Didn't check tickets when they should (let a large percentage - 50+ - travel for free), cramped trains, often cancelled and the next one full. Over priced, often standing for 40 mins+.
Come back in a decade and whinge 😉
