I am a bit of a divot where technology is concerned so dont understand this WAP/WLAN etc stuff-so is the Nokia 5800 a wifi phone?
The people in the shop say it is but I cant find anything in the specs that says so specifically.
Also any opinions on this pnone gratefully received.

look under high speed access, looks like it does, but mentions 3g version only?
i got one a few days ago on a good deal. yes it is a wi-fi phone, have gone online connected to my home wireless network. its got gps/satnav and you can down load specific software from nokia to use it like a bike computer
Do you mean is it VOIP: as in, you can use it to make calls through the internet. No!
THe nokia has wifi so that you can surf the net but it is still a mobile phone using the mobile network.
No I just meant could I surf the net if I wanted to.
