had new boiler fitted in decemeber but the radiators upstairs make a noise. it wakes me up when the heating comes on. i have had the thermo valves changed but still noisy. what can i do?
Sleep downstairs? 😉
Why does it make noise?
Is there air in the system?
Is it full of sludge and needs a clear out?
all power flushed and no air
Is it the radiator or the pipes making the noise? Also worth checking the brackets the radiator sit on, mine have little rubber grommets to stop the radiator rattling on the wall bracket.

turn down the pump ?
(maybe the clearout's made the flow faster)

I think mine does the same, whole new system in Feb. Boiler is very quiet but can hear something on the top floor when the boiler is programmed to come on at 7am which sounds like it's coming from the rads
