I only ask as I am a little tired after a wonderful weekend and a glass or two. Last time I did this I ended up with a TVR 350 and an exciting few months driving before I could sell it. My thinking is that being a 7 seater it will stop the wife complaining about the two seaters I seem to have ended up with. Please tell me it is a good idea.

The advert is in CAPS.... "THESE CARS ARE STILL USED TODAY BY ROYALS AND GOVERNMENTS AROUND THE WORLD"

I see that as an ex-Funeral Limo....

That said, why not!

I know it's not the car driven by Withnail and I... But is it so you can lean out the window and shout "SCRUBBERRS!" at the commoners?

Don't buy that get the W124 estate he has. Also has 7 seats and will last approximately 1 million years longer than the Daimler before breaking down.

If you go and view it take a magnet with you and check carefully for body filler. It’ll have tons of the stuff, they rot like it’s going out of fashion.

Needs roof rack with suitable bike on top. For some reason a Kona feels appropriate for the 'no care given' attitude to go with it.

THIS COACH BUILT LIMOUSINE WAS BASED ON THE CHASSIS OF A MK10 JAGUAR

That seems a perfectly good long-term ownership proposition.

On the other hand, just think of the wafting.....

The reason I was looking was MrsWCA said I could have a pickup truck and my search criteria went south. I assume this will take a roof rack and has some space in the boot. Almost like a pickup truck in a pretty frock

TBH I think you could just open the lid of the boot, and just sling the bike in...I think you'd have to wait a minute or so, just to be sure you hear it hit the end, before you just nonchalantly slammed the lid shut again

So Nickc you agree it is a pleasantly understated way of taking the whole family out while also allowing us to do useful trips to the tip or pick up fence panels when we need to.

Basically it is a reduced price BMX X5 or similar wit a bit of style, right?

So do Rolls Royce cars of certain vintages - an acquaintance of mine owns one that previously belonged to a famous British actor who was a friend of his, who he inherited it from, and it’s kept in a garage with a dehumidifier on continually to keep the corrosion under control!

Just had a thought, what with the OP’s username and his own personal history, it’s possibly the most appropriate vehicle he could actually buy…

Aren’t the estates only built for 3 people?

You should buy it. Or I do have a Navara that is going up for sale shortly if you do want a pickup...

I quite fancy the Victor or the Willy's.

Maybe both, and the classic JCB for trail building.

That Daimler is insanely cool - it's not far from me.... I may go and have a walk around [inside it!].
I would utterly dread all of the following though:
Putting fuel in
MOT
Any form of repair whatsoever!

Will the sex pond fit in ? You could cruise around the place waving gracefully with one hand ...

I wonder how easy it is to insure?

Presumably from a wedding car business that has gone belly up, given the seller title?
