A story I love is about his son, who was doing really badly at a comedy gig. He got angry and shouted, "Do you know who I am? I'm Kirk Douglas's son!"

At which point a man in the audience stood up and said, "No, I'm Kirk Douglas's son!" and you can work the rest out for yourself 😉

Really had him down on 2016's hit list, but good on him making it past 100.

Weird film and have a bit of a soft spot for it.

DK very interesting, Paths of Glory I must try and find that. It was banned in France for 20 years I just read and only shown in 1975, the Birthday tribute to him on French TV featured that film plus Spartacus of course.
