Google is failing me, and as this place is the font of all knowledge...
I have a festool midi extractor, which comes with a specific festool connector (twist fit). This is great if you are using festool stuff.
I also want to use it with my makita router, sander and evolution mitre, which have different hose connections.
Can someone point me in the direction of a friction fit adaptor(s) for the extractor? I've looked at festools own but if I'm honest I can't work out what is what. I've bought what I thought was the right one and it turned out to be for a different diameter hose, not dust port
Or, does anyone know a decent festool seller which does livechat so I can ask the same q?
Been there with other kit at other times so I feel your pain. There’s a Festool specialist in Weston-S-Mare called NBT. They might be able to help. Can you post a pic of the offending connector?

Mine just has a rubber connector on the end which fits anything the same diameter eg Bosch stuff just works.
Just had a google and the twict lock thing seems new. Maybe just buy an old hose or an old hose end piece.

I'll have to replace mine soon as it's starting to crack and split from general use....
EDIT: Went for a look, to see what part it is, no part number on it, but looks the same.

I find it just fits most power tools without any problems.
My one has the twisty fit thing - but its rubbery and can happily to shoved into anything else I use other extractors with.
Is the nozzle too big or too small for the things you want to poke it in?
Car radiator hose tubing from local car parts shop.
Get various diameters and then cut a length, insert a piece of smaller diameter tube using superglue to bond the two together.
You can make up different adaptors to suit.
For example one adaptor that I made allows my Elu bandsaw to be connected to my Screwfix vacuum cleaner.

I've tried making my own adaptors, but tbh they were a bit half arsed and after a while the duct tape failed on them / generally a pain so thats a last resort for me I'd rather buy the right bit(s) so it just works
I have the above adaptor, sqidgy rubber and it fits a lot of tools without destroying the locking bit.
However I have a Makita saw that it doesn't fit and a few old sanders too.
I found, in the corner of the garage, a kids toy baseball bat. Which was in effect a tapered thinnish plastic tube. I've been able to make a few adapters by the judicious cutting down at the appropriate points.
It saves having to go and ask the neighbours for the ball back too.

That's what we use to connect ours to all the non Fess Tools
Another tip I was given is 50mm drain pipe fits the hose socket on the Midi itself, if you want a cheap way of connecting direct to it.
