Can anyone recommend a nice hotel in Leeds? Stayed at Hilton, Crowne Plaza etc but want something smaller for a night away in the new year.
Stayed in the Malmaison a few times (though not for a few years).
They're a small chain of nice, boutique-style hotels.
I stayed at the City Inn earlier in the year (looks like it's a Mint Hotel now)

was pretty good and has a roof top bar. Was pretty cheap through laterooms.com as well.
Bewleys is quite nice.....stayed here while I was on a course.

Boutique hotel, was very good when I stayed there on my wedding night six years ago.
Had my wedding night in Quebecs, which was very nice. Small, as it is an old building, but very nice and great staff.
